Vikings get a Superstar?
What the Vikings need to add this cons-season to become a serious competitor. I thought I should look at this list of players: QB - Donovan McNabb (Eagles) WR - Chad Johnson (Bengals) WR - Devin Hester (Bears) TE Alge Crumpler, (Falcons) FB-Fred Beasley (49's), LB Jeremiah Trotter (Bucs) CB-Ty Law (Chiefs), CB Asante Samuel (Patriots), CB Charles Woodson (Packers) SS-Ed Reed (Ravens) And if they add too players, which is to get rid of? I think it would Tavares Jackson and / or Chester Taylor. Let me know what you think: one more player, I thought I might add that this list is as follows: WR - Arnaz Battle (49ers) *** correction FB - Fred Beasley (Redskins)
I do not think they get rid Jackson and Taylor. They definitely need to talk about Taylor a pay cut because his departure is not back for longer, but I think it can happen. Is the last defense against the pass this year. Not because they are bad against him, but because they are first against the run. The teams have the ball go after a second quarter with zero or negative yards. But because teams are so run against them, Vikings need a corner to help Winfield. Griffon is a proper player, but can actually benefit from a ball hawk. Someone Samuel would be a plus. There is also the fact that DeAngelo Hall is not happy in Atlanta. Probably trying to change this year. I think the Vikings could be able to remove it by a third-round pick and a TE Kleinsasser or surplus as a decent backup Holcomb. As receivers go, I do not need. Hester and Johnson are not going anywhere, and I think that rice is the future. But I hope that Williamson break in its third year. This is where most projects "for recipients.
