What is your favorite BBQ in Kansas City and why?
I am totally sold on the stack of Jack. The meat is lean, the beans are to die and fungi and appetizers of onion rings are fabulous. What is your favorite in Kansas City?
Top level, I prefer Jack Stack. Smokehouse is great, too, but I think Jackstack has the edge ... Have you tried the "Crown of beef ribs? The best I've eaten ... The term "cafeteria" style barbecue, all standards Gates. The mixing plate is striking. I only ate at the racetrack (Legends) the location of the Bryants Arthur, but I personally I think it is one of the worst food I ate. Too salty. Others disagree, however.
