My hermit crab came out of it, Shell is not moving. which did not smell of fish that died?
I'm not so I Beary or leave it. What do u think?
It is never normal for a hermit crab in the shell .. which is a sign of stress, struggle or Shell overheating. The Crab May be dead, but without strong odor that can not be said. What is the temperature of your tank? What type substrate do you use? And finally, what is the humidity in the tank? The only way to know if a dead crab is looking into the eyes and mouth parts .. if the eyes are firmly down and around the body may be dead. If you are clear, and the exoskeleton of crabs and not at all, then look at the bottom of it, may see a Shell pink crab there. Then you shloud Molter was not bothered at all.
