When East German Steiff tag in output?
I recently purchased a "Petsy" Steiff Bear and the label said it was East Germany. I think it's like my other rare Steiff bears that come to Germany. Could someone enlighten us this?
This reference comes from my Teddy Bear by Steiff Marianne Jurgen Cieslik, a ledger, they are wonderful researchers. They do not show a label of East Germany in his book, but two full page in the bear, and she was released again in 1992, but tags are fixed after the Wall fell and Germany became one again. Petsy produced first in 1928 and before there was a wall, it is intersting because in 1928, Richard has published a call Buschy Steiff bears and the name was changed more than the name Petsy. There are a multitude of formats made until 1930 and 10,688 were made. I found another reference to a bear produced 1961-1964,1985-1987, had a name that Teddy Petsy Rubio rust and cream, was years in the two Germanies, the wall fell in 1989 which will see if I can find no reference to Eastern Germany, but none of the labels in the book show eastern Germany, on them. Could you describe the label.
